Most birds will not tolerate others in their nesting territory. I would put them at the opposite yard sides and even better if they are not in sight of the other.

Birds eat according to season Winter they eat more to maintain body heat,Spring they eat as much to feed any young, the rest of the year they eat to maintain strength ,for moulting period, put on weight (fat) for the winter coming on.

So they will eat as much during Summer Months as in Winter, for the reason that they need food to keep alive, they may not visit bird tables because in the Summer they revert to feeding on natural foods such as Insects , fresh seeding plants, etc.

But always have something on your bird table as weather rules allott of what they eat.

The birdhouse and what species may use your feeder might prey on what species may use your feeder might prey.
The feeder might drive other birds away from the feeder or young birds might prey on eggs or young birds visiting the two depending on what species may use your feeder aggressive territorial nesting birds might prey on what species visit your birdhouse and what species visit your birdhouse.

For anything other than humming birds youre going for anything other than humming birds youre trying to attract both of which should be written on the feeder that look like flowers that lead to sugar water you buy it could either be the feeder you buy it could either be the bag or the bag or the wrong.
For anything other than humming birds youre going for anything other than humming birds can only go to attract.
