Bird Feeders

I seem to have a problem with our bird feeders and raccoons. I have squirrel proof feeders and I use sunflower seeds in them. For the past month something has been getting into them and I believe it is raccoons. Is there any way to raccoon proof them or do I just take them down?

In the past couple of weeks the bees have been getting all over my humming bird feeders and the birds are not able to feed as they would normally. I don’t want to kill the bees. Just want them to go away.

I fill my birdfeeder every day with a basic seed mix for wild birds. All I am getting is sparrows and an occasional cardinal. No chickadees, no titmice, no nuthatches, etc. I can hear them so I know they’re out there. Are there any tricks to getting rid of these hungry sparrows so that the other songbirds can get some food?
