Make sure the narrow end of the cone is toward the feeder. Or You can get a squirrel trap and trap it using peanut butter or apple cores. Or You can shoot the squirrel with a BB gun. Just make sure you get at least a .22 BB gun to make sure you kill it. Also, in most cases, rifles are more accurate than pistols. Keep a dog in your yard
