      You should change it at least once a week. You may just have not seen any yet..They are wonderful to watch..I set feeders out every year from march to october. I live in alabama and have long summers..Once they come to feed..they will stay and come back each year if you keep your feeders out.

      The sugar water hasnt crystallized or if ants have found their way in some how alot of times they go in thru the top openingbees are huge problem tooso check it often to see if ants have.

      My feeder out for about weeks before anyone found itnow have hummers fighting over it some time.
