I’ve heard that it’s best not to encourage wild birds to become too dependent on feeders and that in warmer weather they can easily find their own food. What’s the best thing to do? I really enjoy seeing them outside kitchen window every day at the hanging feeder, so maybe it’s for myself that I want to do this!
